Saturday, April 25th:
London is fabulous!! Before landing, we saw all sorts of cool stuff like the London Eye and Big Ben. Our flight attendant was nice enough to give us an aerial tour! I have already noticed how free and easy the English are. This city is so beautiful in many aspects, and I’m sure my fellow Americans are jealous that I’m here!!
As far as the flights here, they were long. Our flight to Chicago lasted almost if not more than two hours due to tornado weather. We went nearly 300 miles east of Chicago before turning around to circle the city again before landing. Thank goodness our flight to London wasn’t delayed or cancelled like many of the other flights in/out of Chicago. But, once I got on the flight, I did manage to fall asleep while watching The Water Horse. I’m excited for the rest of my first day in London!! Until next time….
